I worked with this lime essential oil, obtained by expression, to preserve all its vibrancy. Unlike distilled essential oil, it retains that freshly squeezed zest sensation, essential for the 'cocktail' effect and to energize the floral bouquet.
For Perla Maya, we needed a beginning that evokes the harsh light of Mexico. Lime, with its bitterness and vibrancy, was obvious. It's the freshness that contrasts with the heat of the solar flowers.

Pink Berries (Peru / Brazil) · Top note

The "false pepper" (Schinus molle) is a tree native to South America. Its berries were used by the Incas for their medicinal properties and in their ritual drinks. They were introduced to Europe as a decorative spice before attracting perfumers.

Long used as simple culinary decoration, pink berries have become a choice ingredient in fine perfumery since the 1990s, bringing a new spicy freshness, different from traditional spices.

I used supercritical CO2 extraction for the pink berries. This technique yields an exceptionally pure extract, perfectly capturing the pungent and fruity sensation of the fresh berry, without the heavier notes of traditional distillation.

Tuberose (India (Tamil Nadu)) · Heart note
The most carnal flower in the perfumer's palette. Tuberose is a white flower with a narcotic, opulent and creamy fragrance. It possesses a fascinating duality, with solar, almost coconut facets, and greener, camphoraceous notes and a captivating animality.

The journey takes us to the state of Tamil Nadu. Harvesting takes place from dawn to mid-morning. Women walk through the fields, delicately picking the flower buds that will open during the day, releasing their intoxicating fragrance. The flowers are then transported to the factory to be processed the same day, so as not to lose any of their olfactory richness.

Originally from Mexico, tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa) was cultivated by the Aztecs. Introduced to Europe in the 16th century, it fascinated royal courts. Legend has it that during the Renaissance, young girls were forbidden to stroll through tuberose gardens in the evening, as its fragrance was considered aphrodisiac and unsettling.

I sought to exalt its creamy and solar notes, combining them with the softness of ylang-ylang and sandalwood, while retaining just enough of its initial greenness to keep it vibrant and alive.

Ylang-Ylang is the ideal partner for tuberose. It shares its sunny signature but with a spicy (clove) and slightly medicinal facet that gives it relief. My work was to use it to amplify the 'sun-warmed skin' aspect of the fragrance, creating a floral heart of extreme opulence and sensuality.
Ylang-Ylang is Perla Maya's touch of exotic sunshine. We chose a 'Complete' quality from the Comoros, sourced by Behave Sourcing for its richness and ethical commitment. It brings that solar warmth and creamy roundness that envelops the tuberose and makes it even more addictive.

The soft gold of winter. Mimosa offers a fragrance of unparalleled powdery softness and texture. Its notes are green, honeyed, with a facet reminiscent of cucumber and almond. It's a delicate and comforting note, bringing a touch of light and naturalness.

The black gold of perfumery. Far from the sugary image, vanilla absolute is a raw material of incredible richness and complexity. It unfolds warm, balsamic, leathery, smoky and spicy notes, with a gourmand facet that is never cloying.

The journey takes us to northeastern Madagascar. Vanilla cultivation is a work of infinite patience: each flower is pollinated by hand, then it takes 9 months for the pod to ripen. Then come the complex stages of scalding, sweating and drying, which last for months and develop the vanilla aroma. It's an ancestral and precious know-how.

Vanilla is the fruit of an orchid native to Mexico, where it was used by the Aztecs to flavour their cocoa drink. Its cultivation was exported to Madagascar in the 19th century, where a young slave, Edmond Albius, discovered the process of manual pollination, which is still used today.

- Recharge 200mL (avec Embout RT Twist) Elle possède un embout "RT Twist" intégré qui se visse directement sur votre flacon.Le remplissage est automatique et anti-débordement : le parfum s'écoule tout seul une fois la recharge vissée.C'est la solution la plus simple et la plus rapide, sans risque de renversement.

Comment recharger le flacon avec une recharge 100mL ?
Si vous souhaitez remplir le flacon du voyage 11mL ou 50mL reachargeable avec une recharge de 100mL suivez ces étapes :
- Dévisser la pompe du flacon rechargeable 50mL ou 11mL, dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre (vers la gauche).
- Placer l’entonnoir dans le flacon à recharger. Maintenez-le un peu surélevé afin qu’il y ait un appel d’air.
- Verser le contenu de la recharge dans le flacon avec précaution. Une fois le flacon rempli, retirer l’entonnoir.
- Revisser la pompe sur votre flacon. Bien reboucher la recharge 100mL. Vous n’avez plus qu’à vous parfumer.
Comment recharger le flacon avec une recharge 200mL ?
Si vous souhaitez remplir le flacon du voyage 11mL ou 50mL reachargeable avec une recharge de 200mL suivez ces étapes :
- Dévisser la pompe du flacon rechargeable 50mL ou 11mL, dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre (vers la gauche).
- Visser l’embout "entonnoir" de la recharge sur le flacon à recharger dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
- Une fois bien vissé, le flacon se remplit tout seul grâce à l’appel d’air. S’il ne se remplit pas immédiatement, agiter légèrement la recharge pour aider le parfum à descendre. Attendre que le flacon soit plein. Lorsqu’il n’y a plus de bulles dans la recharge, le remplissage est terminé.
- Dévisser la recharge par l’embout en le maintenant bien.
- Revisser la pompe sur votre flacon. Vous n’avez plus qu’à vous parfumer.
Point d’attention : Lorsque vous manipulez la recharge, faîtes attention de ne pas dévisser l’embout "entonnoir" de son flacon 200mL.
