Our quest for the perfect citrus fruit led us to Cyprus, the birthplace of the Mandora. There, meeting passionate farmers who have cultivated this fruit as a family treasure for generations was a natural occurrence. It's the story of a fruit brimming with sunshine and expertise.
History & Origins
The Mandora is a local celebrity in Cyprus, resulting from a natural hybridization (spontaneous crossing) between the orange tree (Citrus sinensis) and the mandarin tree (Citrus reticulata). Its story is one of agriculture, a fortunate accident that Cypriot farmers have preserved and cultivated.
Uses of Yesterday and Today
Primarily consumed as a table fruit in Cyprus, the Mandora remains very rare outside its island of origin. Its use in perfumery is still confidential, making it a choice ingredient for niche houses seeking originality.

Mandora is our love at first sight. We were looking for a citrus fruit with a story, a unique character. Its rarity and its olfactory profile, both sweet and intense, make it the perfect opening for a fragrance that celebrates passion.

Neroli (Tunisia) · Top note
The pure elegance of bitter orange blossoms. Neroli brings a floral, fresh and delicately bitter light, like a gentle breeze crossing a flower-filled patio in Seville. It marks the opening of the fragrance with timeless sophistication.

Our journey takes us to the Cap Bon region of Tunisia, where, in spring, the air is fragrant with orange blossom. Witnessing the manual harvesting, a precise ballet where each flower is picked one by one, is to experience the preciousness and ancestral know-how of this ingredient.
History & Origins
Neroli owes its name to Anne-Marie Orsini, Duchess of Bracciano and Princess of Nerola (Italy), who, in the 17th century, started the fashion of scenting her gloves and bath with the essence of bitter orange blossom. This fragrance then became synonymous with aristocratic elegance.

Once a fragrance of royal courts, Neroli is a pillar of luxury perfumery and Eau de Cologne. Orange blossom floral water (hydrolat) is widely used in pastry making and cosmetics for its soothing properties.

Fig Leaf (France (Laboratory)) · Heart note
The secret of an Andalusian garden. This accord unfolds a green, vegetal and surprisingly milky facet. It is the cool and comforting shade of a fig tree in midsummer, a carnal note that brings a fruity sweetness and an unexpected depth.

The quest for the perfect fig leaf is a stylistic exercise for the perfumer. A stationary journey into memories of naps in the shade of fig trees in Provence or the Cyclades, to capture that unique scent, at once green, woody and creamy.
History & Origins
The fig tree (Ficus carica) is one of the first fruit trees domesticated by humans, originating in the Middle East. It is a symbol of fertility, peace, and abundance in many Mediterranean cultures and in biblical texts (the fig leaf being a mistranslation).
Uses of Yesterday and Today
While the fruit has been consumed for millennia, the use of the leaf in perfumery is a modern invention, popularized by the fragrance 'Philosykos' in 1996. Since then, it has become an iconic note in green and Mediterranean fragrances.
The Benefits of the Matter
In herbalism, fig leaves are used in infusions for their relaxing and digestive properties. Olfactively, the note is associated with calm and well-being.

Using an accord protects the natural resource (the fig tree) and avoids potentially photosensitizing components present in the natural leaf.
Against the wall of a whitewashed patio, The powerful tree spreads its broad hands. Its green and milky scent, neither false nor overly beautiful, Is the refuge of clandestine loves. A journey towards the siesta, the languor of a controlled heat.
Recreating the scent of a fig leaf is a perfumery classic. My goal was to find a perfect balance between the crisp green (Stemone), the milky-coconut aspect (Gamma Octalactone) and a woody facet to avoid it being purely descriptive. It's a painter's work.
The fig leaf, it's the scent of our Mediterranean summers. We wanted this green and creamy heart to embody the vegetal and sensual side of Andalusia, far from purely hesperidic clichés.
The accord is a cosmetic creation. Natural fig leaf can be photosensitizing; using an accord avoids this risk while recreating the desired scent.
Lemon Petitgrain (Italy) · Heart note
The crisp greenness of orchards. Distilled from the leaves and twigs of the lemon tree, petitgrain offers a herbaceous and zesty freshness, with a woody and bitter edge. It's the vibrant, vegetal heart of the fragrance, full of character.

It's a story of rediscovery. Long overshadowed by the fruit, lemon leaves reveal a fragrance of surprising greenness and complexity. It's the scent of the wind in the lemon groves of the Amalfi Coast after pruning.
History & Origins
The term 'Petitgrain' originally designated the essential oil extracted from the small green fruits (small grains) of the bitter orange tree. By extension, the name has remained to designate the essential oils resulting from the distillation of the leaves and twigs of various citrus fruits, such as the lemon tree here.
Yesterday's and Today's Uses
Traditionally used in Eau de Colognes for its lively freshness, Petitgrain is now a key ingredient to bring a green, natural and complex facet to floral and hesperidic compositions. The valorization of the leaves makes it an example of circular economy in the industry.

I used Petitgrain Citronnier for its complexity. It's not just green, it's also floral and woody. It reinforces the 'crushed leaf' facet of the fig accord and brings an elegant bitterness that interacts with the Neroli. It's a structural note, essential to the perfume's balance.
Petitgrain Lemon is our secret for a lasting greenness. It brings a tension, a vibrancy that prevents the fragrance from becoming too sweet. It's the note that snaps, awakens, and makes the perfect link between the top citrus notes and the woody base.

Vetiver (Haiti) · Base note
The grounding of Andalusian earth. Vetiver unfurls its roots to offer a woody, earthy and subtly smoky signature. It's the end-of-day trail, a touch of refinement that anchors the fragrance over time.

Our adventure takes us to the Cayes region, in southern Haiti. It's a story of resilience. Entire communities live off this root. To smell the powerful scent of the freshly unearthed root is a humbling experience.

Native to India, where it is called 'khus', vetiver is a herbaceous plant whose roots are used. Its name comes from the Tamil word 'vettiveru'. Used since antiquity in India for its virtues and fragrance, it only arrived in Europe in the 19th century.

In India, vetiver roots were woven into fans, mats, or screens which were sprinkled with water to cool and perfume the air during the monsoon season. Today, it is one of the pillars of men's perfumery and a key ingredient in luxury woody and chypre fragrances.

In Ayurvedic medicine and aromatherapy, Vetiver essential oil is the 'oil of tranquility'. It is used for its deeply relaxing properties, aiding grounding and blood circulation.

The Haitian Vetiver is, for us, the most beautiful in the world. It has this "roasted hazelnut" and smoky facet that no other has. It's the note that brings the character, the relief, the racy and unforgettable signature to Amante.

The softness of a cotton veil on the skin. White Musks create a clean, round and incredibly soft trail. It's a pure and enveloping aura that softens the woody base and prolongs the fragrance's freshness for hours.

Synthetic musks were discovered at the end of the 19th century, initially to replace tonkin musk, a very expensive and cruelly obtained animal raw material. Since then, chemistry has continuously innovated to create more effective, safer, and more sustainable molecules.

I used a cocktail of modern musks for their different facets. Helvetolide for its fruity-pear note that brightens the top, and Ambrettolide for its powdery warmth and exceptional tenacity. Together, they create a luminous and comfortable halo that envelops the fragrance without weighing it down.
White Musks are the signature of hold and comfort. They are the invisible soul of the fragrance, what makes it blend with the skin to create a unique trail for each person. We wanted this "second skin" feeling, clean and sensual.
White musks are synthetic molecules created in a laboratory. Modern versions are designed to be safe for cosmetic use and more environmentally friendly.

Quels sont les différences entre une recharge 100mL et 200mL ?
La principale différence réside dans leur méthode de remplissage et leur facilité d'utilisation. Bien que les deux permettent de recharger vos flacons de 50mL et 11mL, leur conception est différente :
- Recharge 100mL (avec Entonnoir) Elle s'utilise avec un entonnoir fourni pour un remplissage manuel.Vous versez vous-même le parfum de la recharge dans votre flacon, ce qui demande un geste précautionneux.Idéale si vous êtes à l'aise avec le transvasement manuel.
- Recharge 200mL (avec Embout RT Twist) Elle possède un embout "RT Twist" intégré qui se visse directement sur votre flacon.Le remplissage est automatique et anti-débordement : le parfum s'écoule tout seul une fois la recharge vissée.C'est la solution la plus simple et la plus rapide, sans risque de renversement.
En résumé, les deux formats sont économiques et écologiques, mais la recharge de 200mL offre un confort d'utilisation supérieur grâce à son système de remplissage innovant.
Comment recharger le flacon avec une recharge 100mL ?
Si vous souhaitez remplir le flacon du voyage 11mL ou 50mL reachargeable avec une recharge de 100mL suivez ces étapes :
- Dévisser la pompe du flacon rechargeable 50mL ou 11mL, dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre (vers la gauche).
- Placer l’entonnoir dans le flacon à recharger. Maintenez-le un peu surélevé afin qu’il y ait un appel d’air.
- Verser le contenu de la recharge dans le flacon avec précaution. Une fois le flacon rempli, retirer l’entonnoir.
- Revisser la pompe sur votre flacon. Bien reboucher la recharge 100mL. Vous n’avez plus qu’à vous parfumer.
Comment recharger le flacon avec une recharge 200mL ?
Si vous souhaitez remplir le flacon du voyage 11mL ou 50mL reachargeable avec une recharge de 200mL suivez ces étapes :
- Dévisser la pompe du flacon rechargeable 50mL ou 11mL, dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre (vers la gauche).
- Visser l’embout "entonnoir" de la recharge sur le flacon à recharger dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
- Une fois bien vissé, le flacon se remplit tout seul grâce à l’appel d’air. S’il ne se remplit pas immédiatement, agiter légèrement la recharge pour aider le parfum à descendre. Attendre que le flacon soit plein. Lorsqu’il n’y a plus de bulles dans la recharge, le remplissage est terminé.
- Dévisser la recharge par l’embout en le maintenant bien.
- Revisser la pompe sur votre flacon. Vous n’avez plus qu’à vous parfumer.
Point d’attention : Lorsque vous manipulez la recharge, faîtes attention de ne pas dévisser l’embout "entonnoir" de son flacon 200mL.
Conserver votre recharge à l’abri de la lumière et de la chaleur, afin de maintenir la qualité de votre parfum.

Nous emballons avec soin vos parfums le plus rapidement possible après votre commande (en général un jour ouvré). Une fois votre colis envoyé, vous recevrez un email pour suivre votre colis. Le temps de livraison dépend de votre localisation (environ 3 jours ouvrés pour la France, 4-5 jours les pays limitrophes, un semaine à 10 jours pour le reste de l'UE et envire 2-3 semaines pour l'international (US, Canada, Corée du Sud par exemple).
